Sand between the coats with 320 emery paper to denib the wood hair. Dust off with dry cloth. This removes upstanding wood fiber ends and dust particles which could draw moisture in behind the film and shorten the life of the coating.

FILLER: If required use Sheenlac NC or WB Timber filler. Remove the excess using 220 grit Emery paper and wipe-out the dust with dry cloth.
EXTERIOR DURABILITY: The high build 2 pack PU chemistry ensures excellent exterior durability even in adverse climatic conditions. Forming a hard exterior coating, it provides both protection and aesthetic appeal to natural wood.
FILM FLEXIBILITY: The superior Polyurethane chemistry provides excellent flexibility to the film that prevents any peel off even on curved surfaces. The film’s flexibility can be measured from the fact that there is no film cracking even if the underlying wooden furniture expands up to 1mm in thickness*(under test conditions).
RESISTANCE: Special additives used in the product impart the film with resistance to UV, Heat, Water and other adverse elements.
HOW TO PREPARE (THE WOODEN SURFACE): Ensure that wooden surfaces are clean, firm and dry. Remove any oil, grease, mortar droppings, etc.
NEW WOOD: Sand in the direction of the wood grain till its smooth with 150 grit followed by 220 grit emery paper. Remove dust using a damp cloth.
PREVIOUSLY VARNISHED WOOD IN GOOD CONDITION: Using 150 grit emery paper sand the surface to make it smooth. Remove sanding dust using vacuum or cloth dampened with mineral spirits.
PREVIOUSLY VARNISHED WOOD IN POOR CONDITION: Scrape the damaged layer completely by sanding it deeply with emery paper or using Sheenlac Paint Remover. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Sand the surface deeply till there’s no residue left. Remove dust with a damp cloth.
