For newly constructed Interior Surfaces
- Apply one coat of water-based interior primer directly on to the wall after enough maturation (3-5 months) is provided to the newly plastered interior wall
- Use a suitable acrylic wall putty to make the undulations, pores and dents
- Sand the putty after it dries
- Apply another coat of interior primer over the sanded putty surface to make the surface even and lesser absorbing
- Apply one or more coats of the chosen emulsion paint after the primer has dried to provide the required finish, colour and sheen levels
Apply a suitable topcoat to provide the required finish, colour and sheen
- Inspect the interior surface to be painted for adhesion of the existing paint
- Sand the existing paint to improve the adhesion of the new paint over the existing paint
- Apply the interior primer
- Use a suitable acrylic wall putty to make the undulations, pores and dents
- Sand the putty after it dries
- Apply another coat of interior primer over the sanded putty surface to make the surface even and lesser absorbing
- Apply one or more coats of the chosen emulsion paint after the primer has dried to provide the required finish, colour and sheen levels
For newly constructed Exterior Surfaces
- Apply one coat of water-based interior primer directly on to the wall after enough maturation (1.5-2 months) is provided to the newly plastered exterior wall
- Apply one more coat of the primer if the plastered texture is too porous
- Apply two coats of the suitable topcoat to provide the required finish, colour and sheen levels
For re-painting the Exterior Surfaces
- Inspect the exterior surface to be painted for adhesion of the existing paint
- Sand the existing paint to remove any dried algae or dirt and to improve the adhesion of the new paint over the existing paint
- Apply a coat of exterior primer
- Apply a suitable topcoat to provide the required finish, colour and sheen
